Rubber Grass Mat - 1m x 1.5m

Environmentally friendly, non-slip, impact absorbing safety mat, 1.0m x 1.5m. x 23mm.

Ideal for play areas where you would like to keep a grass lawn look. Grass Mats are also ideal for placing as and where around the play equipment and prevent patches in the grass forming in high footfall areas such as under swings, and ends of slides and ladders. No site preparation required, provided ground is fairly even and not subject to water logging.

• Coverage:
• Each mat covers 1.5 square metres, if you had a 6m x 5m area this would be 30 square metres requiring 20 grass mats. To be efficient the mats should be laid in the most economical way, for example on the 5m width of the play area the mats should be laid with the 1m edge of the mat, taking five across, and the 1.5m edge running along the 6m length of the play area requiring four in length.

• Installation:

• Installation of the grass mats is simple, no ground preparation is required, provided ground is fairly even, just lay on a pre-existing grass service.
• Remove any stones from the proposed play area.
• Place down the first grass mat, lining up at a corner of the play area, and in the direction you want the mats to run.
• Secure in place with a fixing peg in each corner.
• Place your next mat down flush with the previous laid mat.
• Use zip cable ties through and around every fifth hole to secure mats together.
• Repeat the steps until the whole area is covered.
• Rubber Grass Mats are not suitable for areas that water log, ensure adequate drainage is installed if lying water is present.
